Hi G. We're not that far apart, musically speaking. Although I can't believe you've only got one Pink Floyd and no Out Of Time !!!!
Expect to see your videos being "pulled" from youchoob on a regular basis !!!!
Love those late 80's early 90's Scottish bands BTW. Saw James Grant a couple of weeks ago at The Tron. What a voice.
Keep up the good work.
pablophanque
Pablo,
Floyd were never really my thing. But my tastes are changing and have recently started getting into early Aerosmith and listening to Led Zep.
Also started listening to '76/'77 New York new wave stuff recently, when I heard CBGB's had been closed down.
Saw REM a couple of times live, and I definately prefer the "rockier" stuff rather than the more introspective.
James Grant - A god (deliberate small "g"!!) The song "Jane" is fantastic live. Got a vinyl EP somewhere with that on it.
Thank goodness for YouTube!
G.
George, could I be a pest and ask that you edit your post on my music blog ? I am trying to keep it non-sweary and so far, I've succeeded. I know you probably didn't pick up on this going by my other blog...lol
Hope I'm not coming over all school Ma'am-ish, 'cos I still want your link there. Keep up the good work and I hope you don't think I'm operating double standards here.
Feel free to delete this post.
Your pal Steve.
